Puddington Parish Council is home to one of the busiest junctions in the Borough of CWAC where the A540 and A550 meet at the Two Mills. The parish is also bordered down one side by the A5117 dual carriageway a major gateway to North Wales. The A540 is the main route to and from Chester to Neston and the Wirral.
In addition, major routes into our villages via Puddington Lane, Shotwick Lane and Woodbank Lane suffer from speeding motorists and in some case deteriorating road condition, CWAC and responsible for the maintenance of the A540, Woodbank Lane, Capenhurst Lane, Puddington Lane and Badgers Rake Lane.
Highways England is responsible for the A550 Welsh Road.
The A5517 and A550 lead to the Boroughs motorway the M56 and to the M53.
